R.E.S.T.A.G.E COLLECTIVE
OVERVIEW
R.E.S.T.A.G.E is an interdisciplinary platform and production lab dedicated to experimenting with how bodies, systems, and technologies intersect.
Working across performance, design, and critical inquiry, the platform brings together artists, technologists, and researchers to explore feminist approaches to movement, embodiment, and digital culture.
R.E.S.T.A.G.E operates as both a research environment and a space for production — an evolving ecosystem for developing new performative systems, interactive installations, and collaborative artistic frameworks.
MISSION
- To create spaces that blur the boundaries between artistic research, collective experimentation, and public dialogue
- To challenge established hierarchies in creative practice by centring embodied knowledge, feminist theory, and multisensory storytelling
- To treat technology not only as a tool, but as a choreographic partner — one that can extend or transform human perception
ACTIVITIES
- Research & Development Labs — focused on embodied interfaces, interactive scenarios, and choreographic computation
- Collaborative Productions — performances, exhibitions, and film projects developed through interdisciplinary teams
- Workshops & Public Programmes — gatherings that open creative research to wider audiences, including artists, students, and local communities
- Publishing & Documentation — experiments in how performance and process can be archived through text, video, and immersive formats
